Knowi offers two options to create the Dashboard:
Option 1:
- Click on the Dashboards from the left, and a list of existing dashboards will appear.
- Click on the + icon, and a modal window providing options to create the dashboard will appear.
- Enter the dashboard's name and press the OK button, and a new blank dashboard will be created. If your account has dashboard categories, you can also select one or more categories in the Categories field (optional). See Assign Categories When Creating a Dashboard.
- Click Create, and a new blank dashboard will be created.
Option 2:
- Click on the “New +” from the top left corner of the interface. A modal window providing options to create the dashboard will appear.
- Enter the name of the dashboard. If your account has dashboard categories, you can also select one or more categories in the Categories field (optional).
- Click Create, and a new blank dashboard will be created.
After creating the dashboard, you can start adding the widgets to it.
Assign Categories when Creating a Dashboard
The create dashboard window includes a **Name** field and an optional **Categories** field, so you can place the new dashboard in a category as you create it instead of adding it afterward in the dashboard settings.
- Enter the dashboard name.
- Click the Categories field and select one or more categories. Each selected category appears as a chip that you can remove with its x.
- Click Create.
The new dashboard opens already assigned to the selected categories. You can change them at any time in Dashboard Settings.
- Note: The Categories field only appears if your account already has dashboard categories. The Create button is available once a name is entered.
