Formatting options in X-Axis

Hello!

I'm not sure if this should be here or in Feature Requests.

I have the following bar chart, where each bar is one month (YYYY-MM-DD).

Is there a way to see those dates better? Removing the 01. and maybe showing the year when the year changes or something like that...

Hi Gonzalo,

The way to change the X-axis format is to go to self serve analytics and use the date format function. Indicate the format you want with the proper syntax (a complete list of date formats can be found here in our docs). Then make sure to sort by your original date field. Next go to your widget settings, select your new date field as the X-axis, turn X-axis type to none, and make sure X-axis ordering is also none. Now your visualization's X-axis will be formatted to your preferred format. Follow along the tutorial below:
