Query parameters

Is there an easy way to send a value to the query parameter through an input text box instead of through a drill down?   Yes. Here's a recording on it: http://recordit.co/HvAWD4Txno Notes: Notice the query parameters - the bits within the () is the default value which can be empty and the bits between the [] is the label for the filters that will show up. You can then then add the filter in, where the user can type in the value.  If you also want the values to be a dropdown, you can set up a Hitlist which can be another dataset with list of reader id's.
