- Knowi Apps - UI Changes
- App Icon - Navigation Menu (4690): Support for adding App icon navigation bar.
- Builder Chats (4708): Builder requests are now grouped into a private chat per App that carries earlier turns as context for follow-up requests, and a change based on an outdated version is rejected instead of overwriting newer work.
- Versions, Commits & Activity (4709): Apps now have a Versions list with search, preview and publish actions, a Commits view showing who made each change and through which client, and an App activity view of page views, capability calls, errors and sign-ins.
- Write Actions (4701): Apps can now insert, update or delete a single row in a writable database through an approved write action, with SQL Server added as a DBWrite destination.
- Platform (4711): Publish, source-change and write-action events are now retained for App history, write actions record their request ID and status, build failures are recorded on Postgres, and App sign-ins are logged for every Knowi session.
- Funnel Chart (4585): New label settings show each stage's value, percentage and drop-off percentage. New triangular funnel shape now also available under Display & Formatting.
- MCP Improvements (4707):
- A new update_query tool renames a query, edits its text, sets the overwrite strategy or schedule, or executes it. Create_query accepts the same parameters and defaults to Replace All for the overwrite strategy. Get_details on a query returns the query's settings.
- New actions for app development like preview, change, and read. Also, publish and change now record the MCP client name.
- JWT Authentication (4610): Secure URLs and SSO can now be authenticated with signed JWT or encrypted JWE tokens using a public key uploaded to Knowi, with UI to generate claims and test secure share links with JWT.
- Reports - PowerPoint Attachments (4649): Dashboard email reports can now attach a PowerPoint file, including when delivered through Slack and Teams.
- Agentic BI - Sharing (4603): Users with share permissions can now share dashboards, widgets, datasets, reports and alerts to groups or users from chat.
Fixes
- Knowi Apps - View as User (4694): View as User now launches Apps correctly when signed in through a white-label domain.
- Agentic BI
- Bulk Report Editing (4602): Bulk edits no longer clear the Slack, Teams or Webhook delivery channel on non-email reports.
- Dataset Matching (4689): Questions now match the dataset whose name and fields cover the subject, so "total sales weekly" no longer picks an unrelated weekly dataset.
- Reports - Date Token Labels (4678): When a report filter maps to a date token by its label, the dashboard filter now shows the resolved date range instead of the raw token.
- Spreadsheet Widget
- Content Overwrite (4693): Editing one spreadsheet widget no longer saves another widget's tabs into it.
- Excel Export Formulas (4692): Excel exports now write formulas as live formulas with their calculated values instead of literal text.
- Blank Excel Export (4691): Export to Excel no longer returns an empty sheet after a column has been resized.
- Widget Cloud9QL
- Analyze Preview (4660): Cloud9QL applied in widget settings now shows in the data grid immediately instead of only after saving and reopening the widget.
- Create Visualization (4683): The Edit Cloud9QL button now appears and works on the Data Transformation tab when creating a widget from the query page.
