This setting can be found in the filter configuration for date fields where the filter control is set to either range or equals with slightly different behavior for each. This setting allows an admin to specify the maximum length of a date range that the end user can input into a date filter. If the filter control is set to equals, the limit only allows the end user to select a date greater or less than today +/- the limit.
